The Rooster Who Couldn’t Crow Anymore

Once upon a time, there was a rooster who crowed loudly every morning. His crow was the signal for the hens to come out of their nests and start laying eggs. The rooster felt important, knowing that his voice started the rhythm of the farm. Without him, there would be no order, no structure. He was the leader the one who announced the start of the day. But one day, the rooster couldn’t crow anymore. No matter how hard he tried, no sound came out. The hens thought it wasn’t such a big deal. “We can manage without him,” they said, and stayed in their nests a little longer.

At first, it seemed harmless. But over time, the farmer noticed the hens were laying fewer eggs and seemed confused. They no longer knew when to wake up. The whole farm slowly fell into disorder. The rooster realized that without his leadership, the farm didn’t function. His crow wasn’t just noise it was structure, direction, and purpose. He gathered his strength, and when he finally crowed again, the hens immediately sprang into action and began laying eggs. Balance was restored, and the farm returned to harmony.

Leadership often goes unnoticed until it’s gone. Whether in a family, group, or team, strong guidance creates rhythm and stability. Don’t underestimate the quiet power of structure, responsibility, and showing up when it matters most.
